This year I made a New Year's Resolution to finally get the sales of my award winning children's book, "A Lesson My Cat Taught Me" moving.  To accomplish this I've just started the process to convert the book to a KINDLE format.  It's amazing, children as young as five I've learned are actually reading books on KINDLE devices.

Posted by Saul Weber on March 17, 2013 at 6:15 PM Comments comments (0)

Hi All

I know it's been a long long while since I last posted an entry. Well that might because essentially no one has bought any copies of my award winning children's book, "A Lesson My Cat Taught Me." This is in spite of the fact I had offered 15% - 20% discounts on it, if anyone would buy it through my e-store which had been set up for me by CreateSpace.com [the company I used to self-publish its re-released.

Posted by Saul Weber on October 9, 2012 at 8:55 PM Comments comments (0)

Has I had stated in my last post I did speak at a children's literature at the College of Staten Island. I couldn't believe I had absolutely no real traffic problems going there or coming back home, especially since there's always something to slow things down on a regular basis,

The class there seemed to be quite interested in my writing experience, and how I came to write my book, A Lesson My Cat Taught Me. I also spoke about the publishing process b...

STILL NOTHING....BUT

The economy is surely having an impact on everything, and that apparently includes sales of my award winning children's book. Even if I offer as much as a 15% discount for it on my e-store apparent is not a big enough stimilus to garner any sales. I just I have to find new venues in which to get people to know more about me, my children's book, or opportunities to communicate my experience in writing children's literature. And by...

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT

Well here I was, already to sell all the copies of my book I have on hand, at the 2012 Riverfest in Yonkers. Forgetting the rain which occurred in the morning; the tent, table and two chairs did not arrive until after 1:00, By the time I completed setting everything up, it was around 1:20/1:25. I had no control over the spot I was assgined. I was assigned to a spot in the park along the Saw Mill River. The MOST DISCOURAGING THING about this spot was I got no real foot traffic, There...

DISTRACTIONS DISTRACTIONS DISTRACTIONS

The best laid plans of mice and men oft time go astray. In the past two weeks I've suffered through one distraction after another after an another. And for the past several days while I might be retired, my wife's still working; and right now she's on vacation, which needless to say this has left me without any time to any writing. Right now she still has five days left.

I finally made the decision last week to go and try m...

TIME TO SPEED UP

It's been about twelve days since my last post and I've only written a total of ten pages. Too many things keep popping up and getting in the way.

Today, I'm schedule to participate in a paid survey so there goes about four hours.

Tomorrow, in an attempt to sell more copies of my award winning book, I'm heading to a flea market about 70 miles away. Hopefully I can sell enough copi...

Sorry for the LOOONG DELAY since my last post, but after weeks of having a blank as to what to write as my fourth book a light bulb has FINALLY COME ON inside my head.

I've been a member of the CWA [Cat Writer's of America] since 2010 and I felt it was time for me to write another children's book. probably another early reader that has a cat has the main character. And today I was at loooong fa...
